TESE/MESA
The testicular sperm extraction (TESE) is used in cases where there aren’t any sperms in the ejaculate of a man that can be used for ICSI. In such a case the urologist can attain tissue out of the testes by a short ambulant accomplishable surgery. The tissue will then be analysed and prepared in the IVF-laboratory. Tissue pieces containing sperms can be deep frozen and preserved for future ICSI treatments. Carrying out a mesenchymal epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA) sperms are isolated from the epididymis and can also be cryopreserved for future ICSI-treatments.Infocenter
