Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom

The PCO is a disorder caused by hormonal regulation deficiencies of the ovaries, each month the ovaries produce many small vesicles, but inside  there is no or no complete maturing of follicles possible. As a result of this, mature oocyte fertilization cannot happen. The cause for this disorder is in most cases an insulin resistance.The cells of the organism do not respond to the enzyme insulin. In healthy people, the insulin release stops further food intakes , when the concentration of sugar in the blood reaches a high level. This control circuit is interrupted at an insulin resistance. Patients with PCOS  are often obese, which again is a normal fertility negatively influencing factor. Modern medicine in some cases can help to control insulin resistance.
